Joy is not what you chase - It is what you restore.

My Approach

My classes and programs are designed to be adaptable, fun, and deeply nourishing. You’ll laugh. You’ll move in ways that feel good. You’ll leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and often surprised by how much better you feel.

Whether you’re in your 30s navigating burnout, in your 60s+ wanting to stay vibrant and connected, or part of a team looking for something fresh, this work meets you where you are.

Looking Ahead

My vision for The Joy Restoration Project is big and bright. I see it growing into larger retreats, corporate wellness programs, and keynote stages where I get to help hundreds (and eventually thousands) of people experience that beautiful “I didn’t know I could feel this good” moment.

At the heart of it all, I’m simply a joyful human beaming — inviting other people to beam with me.

If you’re ready to restore your joy, I’d love to welcome you.

Elaine Dunphy

I’ve always believed that joy is our natural state - sometimes we just need help remembering how to access it.

After two decades in the corporate world, I retired in 2015 and began a new chapter that felt far more like coming home. What started with belly dance in 2006 eventually led me to Nia in 2016, and I was hooked from the very first class. The combination of joyful movement, mindfulness, and community was exactly what I had been craving - and what I saw so many others needed too.

I founded Nia on the Rock and later Ageless Grace on the Rock, spending years teaching people of all ages and abilities how to move with freedom, presence, and playfulness. Along the way I added meditation practices and began weaving everything together in workshops, seniors’ programs, and community events.

After almost ten years of this beautiful work, I realized it was time to bring it all under one clear, expansive umbrella: The Joy Restoration Project.

Why This Matters Now

The world feels heavy for so many of us. Between stress, burnout, endless news cycles, and the general pace of life, joy can start to feel distant. That’s exactly why this work is more important than ever.

I created The Joy Restoration Project as a safe, welcoming space where people can come exactly as they are — no experience, no perfect body, no “readiness” required. Just curiosity and a quiet desire to feel more alive.

Through joyful movement, gentle brain-health exercises, guided meditation, and human connection, we help restore what may have felt lost: ease in the body, presence in the moment, and that spark of genuine joy.
