A Reminder to Get Outside
Feeling stressed and not quite sure how to reset?
Give yourself just 10 minutes outside.
Leave your phone on silent (or, better yet, leave it behind). Imagine unplugging yourself from the noise and plugging back into nature.
I just came back from a Walk & Talk, and I’m honestly amazed at how different I feel.
The conversation was wonderful, but so were the little things.
The ideas started flowing.
The scent of the lilacs was incredible.
For a little while, my Monday-morning worries disappeared.
Did that solve every stress waiting for me this week?
Absolutely not.
But did those few minutes outside help calm my nervous system?
Without a doubt.
Sometimes the simplest movements—and the simplest moments—restore a little joy.
And when that happens, you’re in a much better headspace to face whatever comes next.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed today…
Step outside.
Take a breath.
Walk for ten minutes.
Your nervous system will thank you.
You’ve got this, awesome human.
